A captivating Sonoran turquoise gemstone grounds this piece made by Navajo jeweler Julian Chavez. Prized for its luscious greens, blues, and gold striations, Sonoran turquoise is a unique gemstone found only in Northwestern Mexico. Meticulously hand-sculpted accents and a rope-style bezel complement the unique stone.

This cuff boasts both elegance and durability, as an adjustable design ensures a comfortable fit for a range of wrist sizes, making it an accessible and versatile piece of wearable art.

Hailing from the Campitos mine situated near Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, Sonoran turquoise stands out due to its distinctive mining process. Unlike traditional turquoise veins, this variety is frequently discovered as nuggets within clay deposits. In operation since the 1980s, the mine yields exquisite Sonoran turquoise, characterized by vivid green hues complemented by brown matrix, occasionally accented with traces of pyrite to infuse a captivating sparkle.
