This tri-stone Sonoran turquoise pendant created by Navajo silversmith Edward Becenti is a stunning example of both artistry and craftsmanship. A rope-style sterling silver bezel highlights the center stone in addition to six symmetrical sterling silver drops. A hand-stamped bail completes this gorgeous work of art.

Hailing from the Campitos mine situated near Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, Sonoran turquoise stands out due to its distinctive mining process. Unlike traditional turquoise veins, this variety is frequently discovered as nuggets within clay deposits. In operation since the 1980s, the mine yields exquisite Sonoran turquoise, characterized by vivid green hues complemented by brown matrix, occasionally accented with traces of pyrite to infuse a captivating sparkle.
