Golden-brown striations define the unique Number Eight turquoise gemstone at the heart of this classic ring by Navajo jeweler Happy Piasso. A rope-style bezel and handmade sterling silver buttons encircle the oblong stone, accentuating its natural shape. The highly polished incised band completes this elegant accessory.
Located in Eureka County, Nevada, the Number Eight Turquoise Mine was first mined in 1929. Turquoise is no longer collected there, as efforts have been redirected to the mine’s gold deposits. An easily identifiable stone, darker shades of Number Eight turquoise are considered the most valuable.
